HASP DRIVERS
The
latest drivers for the Hasp security keys may be downloaded here.
It is recommended that the most recent version of the drivers be
downloaded and installed.

Downloading
Instructions:
- Create
a new folder called C:\download for your use.

Download
the file to this directory (you will be prompted regarding
the directory name).

The Hasp
Diagnostix utility is a utility which may be used to detect the presence
of a parallel or USB port security device. Diagnostics are also run
on the hasp device. Please run the DiagnostiX software and email a
screen shot of the results back to us.
Downloading
Instructions:
- Create
a temporary folder called c:\download for your use
-
Download
the file to this directory (you will be prompted regarding the directory
name)
- Unzip
the Diagnostix file double-clicking on the file
- Extract
diagnostix.exe to the same directory
-
Double-click
the diagnostix.exe file to
install the diagnostix software and follow the instructions on your
screen
-
Select
Start > Programs > Aladdin > DiagnostiX > Aladdin DiagnostiX
to run the program

Verify
that under the "System Info" option that Hasp Drivers are marked
as "Installed"

Click
on the "Hasp" diagnostic tool
-
Select "Check
Any Hasp Key" and click the "Check Key" button. If a key was successfully
found then an error message of 0 will be displayed in the tool window.
Please notify us of the results.

This service is provided for transfering large files to SoilVision Systems Ltd. Please message us for the password.
To start the file upload, type in the password then press the return key on your keyboard. Please leave your browser open until the file has finished uploading.

Snagit Capture Software |

The Snagit software is shareware software used to perform screen
captures of software problems. Please download and install the
Snagit software. Then run the software and capture the screen
(Ctrl-Shift-P) where the problem is occurring. Save the screen
capture in JPG format and attach it to an email along
with a brief description of the problem.

Database Compaction and Repair
Regular
use of the SoilVision databases can cause them to dramatically increase
in size. We recommend the use of a compaction/repair utility to reduce
wasted disk space and increase performance of the database. A high-quality
compaction/repair utility is provided by SoilVision Systems Ltd. and
may be downloaded at the following location:

5:30 pm (CST), M-F. Before you call technical support, you should have
the following information ready:

Serial number: located on the security dongle (typically 26? ???).
- Product version: located in the Help > About menu.
- A description of what you did before the problem occurs.
- The exact wording of any error message you see.
SoilVision
Systems Ltd. will answer questions and assist in the resolution of
problems related to the installation and operation of SoilVision Systems
Ltd. software programs. This technical support is provided free of
charge for the first two months of SoilVision operation.
Additional support may be purchased after this time period.
