Installation Instructions

To begin using SVOffice 2006, download the HASP Dongle Driver, the .NET Framework, FlexPDE Setup, and SVOffice, and install in the order listed here. Please note that SVOffice 2006 defaults to STUDENT mode when first installed.

Upgrade Instructions

To upgrade SVOffice 2006, do the following:

  • Back up your existing Model_Files directory.
  • Download and install the latest SVOffice 2006 Setup, above. Install FlexPDE as well if required. You do not need to uninstall your current version, simply install the new one.
  • Check that your Model_Files directory is correct from the Options > Global Settings > Root Folder dialog.
  • Run Options > Clean Up. This opens and saves every XML file in your directory, ensuring they are all the most current format.
  • Run Projects > Download Examples to obtain the latest example models.
