![]() Heap Leach Air Injection |
![]() |
||||||||||||
Air injection is a commonly used practice for heap leaching scenarios where the reactions are oxygen-consumptive. The following example uses SVAirFlow™ coupled with SVFlux™ to simulate heap leaching with air injection. ![]() |

The purpose of this example is to illustrate the distribution of pore air pressure, air density, and heap saturation in the case of air injection in a heap leaching scenario. |

Moving Wedges in SVSlope® 3D One of the important SVSlope® 3D beta tester requests was the implementation of moving wedges in an analysis. In previous versions of SVSlope, a single wedge could be entered and analyzed. A wedge in SVSlope 3D is similar to a block failure in SVSlope 2D, so it is now possible to enter a series of parameterized wedges. |

Entry and Exit Search Method Based on feedback from our beta testers, SoilVision Systems Ltd. has implemented an additional method of specifying a group of slip surfaces for a SVSlope® 3D analysis, an extension of an existing 2D method. This new method allows the user to define a plane which defines the center of the proposed slip surface. Next, the user can specify entry and exit points graphically on the screen. The end result is a methodology whereby entry and exit points for an elliptical slip surface can easily be specified in a 3D analysis. |
