Network Installations
SoilVision Systems Ltd. uses a dongle key security system which supports multi-user network installation. The hardware key must be attached to any computer in the network (referred to as the Server) and all other copies of the SoilVision software will look to the Server hardware key for validation.
Enabling Network Security
1) Plug the network security dongle into the USB port of the server machine on the network.
2) Install the Hasp dongle drivers. The Hasp dongle drivers must also be installed on every computer which will run the SoilVision software. The latest Hasp dongle drivers may be downloaded here, or from this web address: http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/hasp4/enduser.asp#latestDD
3) The License Manager software must be installed on the Server computer. The License Manager software is located in the installation CD under the \Dongle\Hasp\Network subdirectory. The License Manager must be installed as a Service so that it automatically initiates every time the computer is booted. The Aladdin Monitor program may also be installed on the Server computer to monitor the connections made to the network hardware key. NOTE: Software firewall programs on the Server computer such as ZoneAlarm will interfere with the correct operation of the License Manager. If the License Manager is running its icon will be displayed in the Taskbar. If it is not running, use the Start menu to open it.
4) Copy and paste the authorization code for each product into the corresponding field on the SVOffice 2006 Authorization dialog.
