ModelsChannel DesignPROBLEM Flood channels are commonly used for the diversion of water. There are many design and operation issues with such structures. For example the following questions may arise: * Will a culvert be able to withstand the overburden stresses? * Will the stresses in a flood channel be sufficiently accommodated in a design? SOLUTION Such flood channels may be evaluated in the SVSOLID software package in order to determine the stress concentrations which may be present in the designed structure. The SVFLUX software package may be used to determine the potential uplift pore-water pressures beneath such a structure when a high water table is present. Please note that most of these models can be downloaded through our SVOffice product suite. Other tags: Channel Design Found 2 models matching your chosen criteria.
