Animated Screen Captures
Each of the following videos contains a short demonstration of how to access specific features in the SVOffice 2006 suite and its modeling applications.

PROGRAM-INDEPENDENT ANIMATIONS
The following animated screen captures are similar between our SVFLUX, SVHEAT, CHEMFLUX, and SVSOLID packages. Large portions of our software are designed to be generic such that training times between packages are greatly reduced.
- Opening a Problem - This video shows users how to access the Projects/Problems form. Users are shown how to navigate through the tree structure and select a problem. (180 Kb)
- Drawing Geometric Figures (2D) - This video shows users how to access the Regions form. New regions are created and users are shown how to draw shapes. (290 Kb)
- Specifying Plots - The user is shown how to specify individual plots through the Plots form. (330 Kb)
- Specifying Output Files - The user is shown how to specify output file type through the Plots form. (340 Kb)
- Analyzing & Visualizing - The user is shown how to analyze a problem. FlexPDE launches, solves the problem, writes a script, and gives a 2D visualization for each variable. (225 Kb)
- Using AcuMesh - The user is shown how to alter the view of a model and what each model displays in AcuMesh. In this example, a contour plot is selected and available for full 3D rotational viewing. (950 Kb)
- Solution Modification - Users are shown how to modify equations, and thus solutions in FlexPDE. How to define variables and their corresponding plots is also provided. (360 Kb)

PROGRAM-SPECIFIC ANIMATIONS
The animations presented below are specific to certain packages.
SVFLUX
- Setting Boundary Conditions- This video demonstrates how to set boundary conditions. Users are shown how to open the Boundary Conditions form, navigate to line segments and how to configure boundary conditions. (270 Kb)
- Specifying Soil Properties - This video shows users how to specify soil properties through opening the Soils Manager form, creating new soil records, and entering soil information. (490 Kb)
SVSOLID
- Setting Boundary Conditions- This video demonstrates how to set boundary conditions. Users are shown how to open the Boundary Conditions form, navigate to line segments and how to configure their boundary conditions.
(420 Kb)
- Specifying Soil Properties - This video shows users how to specify soil properties through opening the Soils Manager form, creating new soil records, and entering soil information. (450 Kb)
SVDYNAMIC
- Importing & Opening Problems - This video shows users how to import data files and problem geometry from SVSolid and other applications. (275 Kb)
- Specifying the Stress Field - This video shows users how to specify the stress field. (215 Kb)
- Defining the Ground Surface - This video shows users how to define the ground surface. Different methods of data entry defining the surface are shown and explained. (280 Kb)
- Defining the Search Boundary - This video shows users how to access the Search Boundary form, modify the data points, and snap the Search Boundary to the problem grid. (220 Kb)
- Analyzing the Problem - This video shows how to analyze the problem and explains some of the messages in the Message Output Window. (290 Kb)
